If every milk recipe remains unlit after fitting the Magnifica Evo carafe, check the milk level, transparent detection path, visible pin and full seating. This differs from weak froth after a recipe starts.
The machine must first detect a correctly assembled milk container before enabling its milk buttons. Too little liquid, opaque residue on the sensing area, a displaced visible detection pin or a carafe that stops short of the connector can all leave those buttons dark. Keep this check visual and external; do not probe the machine-side socket.
Follow the checks in order and change only one condition at a time. Run a short rinse or test after each action, so the result identifies the cause instead of hiding it. The procedures below stay within the cleaning, refitting and user-menu operations described by the manufacturer.

- Fill and seat it completely
Add milk above the required minimum without exceeding maximum, then slide the carafe squarely into its connection until it reaches its normal stop. Check whether the milk recipes illuminate.
